Elgaland-Vargaland ist ein Konzeptkunstprojekt und eine Mikronation, die 1992 von den schwedischen Künstlern Carl Michael von Hausswolff und Leif Elggren konzipiert und entwickelt wurde. Es ist auch unter dem Akronym „KREV“ (Konunga Rikena Elgaland-Vargaland) bekannt.
Elgaland-Vargaland ist das größte und bevölkerungsreichste Reich der Erde, das alle Grenzen zwischen anderen Nationen, sowie Digital Territory und andere Existenzzustände umfasst.
The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland is an art project by Carl Michael von Hausswolff and Leif Elggren’s that play with the notion of the nation state. From time immemorial, both real and fictional kingdoms or small states have been proclaimed. The majority hold a utopian vision of a better world than the one we live in – how does Elgaland-Vargaland do this?
